Classes are offered by Victoria Ward, who runs Bumps to Babies, and occasionally by other local teachers.
Victoria has worked in the voluntary sector for a children’s charity and in local government in a variety of jobs. She attended Antenatal Yoga and Baby Yoga classes with both her children and trained as an Antenatal Yogacise teacher in 2006, qualifying in December when she was seven months pregnant with her eldest daughter.
She completed her Baby Yoga Diploma in 2007 and completed her Diploma in Antenatal Education in April 2010, receiving her NCT License to practise which allows her to work as an NCT Antenatal Teacher. She is now training as an NCT Postnatal Leader and works part-time for the NCT as Postnatal Champion. She also qualified as a Birthlight Aqua Yoga teacher in September 2011.
She also runs the School of Babywearing, a social enterprise which promotes the use of slings and baby carriers and she’s shown here ‘wearing’ her fourth child, baby Alexander, born in October 2011.
